Peintre hongrois né à Budapest en 1873. Après une année consacrée à des études de métallurgie, il se rend à Munich, où il devient élève de Simon Hollósy, puis retourne à Budapest avant de partir pour Paris, où il étudie pendant trois ans auprès de Bonnat, Dousset et Jean-Paul Laurens. De retour à Budapest, il dirige la rubrique artistique du « Magyar Genius » et se consacre notamment à l'affiche et à la peinture décorative à l'aquarelle.
