Correcteur d'imprimerie et auteur actif dans la seconde moitié du XVIIIe siècle, à Amsterdam puis à Hambourg. Il compose des poèmes publiés dans le « Se'ah Solet » de Raphaël ben Gabriel Norzi (Amsterdam, 1757) et dans le « Maskiyot Kesef » de Mardochée b. Isaac Tama (1765), avant de devenir hakham de la communauté portugaise-espagnole de Hambourg. Il est l'auteur des « Sermones Funèbres » (Amsterdam, 1753), sermons funèbres en espagnol, et se voit attribuer le « Yashresh Ya'aẓob » (Nuremberg, 1778).
