Auteur talmudique actif à Gnesen, près de Posen, au début du XVIIe siècle, il rédige le « Gedullat Mordecai », annotations et corrections à l'œuvre de Mordekhaï ben Hillel, auquel il joint l'« Agudat Ezov », abrégé des lois talmudiques de Baba Metsia et Baba Batra appliquées au droit civil du Choulhan Aroukh de Joseph Caro, imprimé à Hanau en 1615 ou 1616.
