Guerrier biblique, fils d'Abinoam, principal allié de Débora dans la lutte contre les Cananéens ; appelé depuis Qédesh en Nephtali, il conduisit dix mille hommes au mont Tabor pour affronter Sisera, dont l'armée fut mise en déroute. Le récit le montre en position subordonnée à Débora, dont il exige la présence pour accepter la mission, et il se joint à son cantique de triomphe ; il appartenait vraisemblablement à la tribu d'Issachar. La tradition rabbinique l'identifie à Lappidoth, l'époux de Débora, et lui donne aussi le nom de Michel.
