Sephardic Jew born in Vidin (Bulgaria). Founder in 1909 of the Socialist Workers Federation of Salonika, which brought together over 12,000 workers of all nationalities. He edited the Judeo-Spanish newspaper "La Solidaridad Ovradera" (1910-1911) and participated in the founding of the Socialist Workers Party of Greece (1918).
