Historien polonais, né en 1867 à Zawichwost, dans le gouvernement de Radom, en Pologne russe. Il étudie aux universités de Varsovie et de Göttingen, où il obtient son doctorat de philosophie, puis est nommé chargé de cours en 1897 et professeur extraordinaire d'histoire universelle à l'université de Lemberg en 1902. Parmi ses ouvrages figurent « Die Letzte Polnische Königswahl » (Göttingen), « Studja Historyczno-Krytyczne » (Cracovie, 2e éd., 1897), « Dzialalnosc Ministra Lubeckiego » (1897) et « Ministerjum Wielhorskiego » (1898), consacrés surtout à l'histoire polonaise des XVIIIe et XIXe siècles.
