Auteur cabaliste et rabbinique, probablement né à Lemberg au début du dix-septième siècle, mort dans cette même ville le 3 avril 1681. Il rédigea le « Sefer ha-Echel », recueil d'homélies dont la première partie, sur la Genèse, incluait aussi des remarques de son grand-père Joseph Ḳalmanḳes, ainsi que le « Ma'yan ha-Ḥokhma », introduction à la Cabale tirée notamment des œuvres d'Isaac Louria, imprimée d'abord à Amsterdam en 1652, puis à Koretz en 1684, et enfin sous le titre « Tov ve-Yachar » à Berlin en 1706.
