Médecin et écrivain médical allemand, né en 1774, mort le 12 juin 1807. Docteur en médecine en 1800, il devient ensuite enseignant à l'université de Berlin. Il publie plusieurs ouvrages, dont une traduction française sur la fièvre jaune (Berlin, 1805), un traité sur l'art dentaire traduit du français (Berlin, 1803), un ouvrage sur l'organisation des pharmacies (Berlin, 1804), et un recueil de recettes de beauté (Berlin, 1805).
