Talmudiste, auteur et poète liturgique nord-africain, né à Fès, au Maroc, vers le début du XIXe siècle, descendant de la famille Alnaqua, mort après 1860. Spécialiste du droit de l'abattage rituel, il parcourt l'Afrique du Nord et l'Italie en quête de manuscrits, et séjourne trois ans à Tlemcen, en Algérie, où il fonde une académie talmudique. Il publie le « Zekor le-Abraham », exposé versifié des lois alimentaires (Livourne, 1839), et le « Zevaḥim Shelamim », destiné aux abatteurs rituels (Livourne, 1858), et rédige aussi une paraphrase arabe de la Haggada de Pessah.
