Ami Bouganim
Create the Great Book with our AIRegion: Essaouira (Maroc) puis Israël
History register · custodian, not owner
Born in Essaouira, trained at the École Normale Israélite Orientale under the direction of Emmanuel Levinas, he emigrated to Israel in 1970 and defended the first Israeli thesis on Levinas there. He writes in both Hebrew and French, locating the essential part of his novelistic work in Essaouira-Mogador whose history and Jewish life he reconstructs, and devotes himself to the philosophy and theologies of Judaism.
