Secrétaire correspondante du Council of Jewish Women, née à Chicago le 3 mars 1862. Engagée dans de nombreux mouvements philanthropiques, juifs et généraux, elle est notamment vice-présidente de la Consumers' League depuis 1899 et présidente de la League for Religious Fellowship en 1897 et 1898. Secrétaire du Congrès des femmes juives réuni au Parlement des religions de Chicago en 1893, dont naît le Council of Jewish Women, elle en demeure depuis lors la secrétaire correspondante, et représente cette organisation comme déléguée au Congrès national des femmes à Londres, en juin 1899.
