Rabbin de Salonique, mort en 1722, beau-père de Salomon Abdallah et ami intime du savant rabbin Joseph Cobo. Toutes ses œuvres sont publiées de son vivant par son fils Moïse : d'abord ses sermons, d'ordre éthique et théologique, sous le titre « Pené Shelomoh » (Salonique, 1717), puis ses responsa, annotés, sous le titre « Kerem Shelomoh » (Salonique, 1719), et enfin, en 1722, un volume complémentaire, le « 'Olelot ha-Kerem », publié avec l'ouvrage analogue de Ḥayyim Shabbethaï, le « Torat Ḥayyim ».
