Rabbin de Salonique dans la première moitié du XVIIIe siècle. Il édite et annote les œuvres de son père, Salomon Amarillo, et compose lui-même des novellæ sur des questions légales traitées par Maïmonide, complétées de deux recueils sur le droit pénal, réunis sous le titre « Halakhah le-Mosheh » (La Décision de Moïse), Salonique, 1756. Ses responsa, publiés auparavant, paraissent sous le titre « Devar Mosheh » (La Parole de Moïse), Salonique, 1742-50.
