Imprimeur, bibliographe et auteur français, né à Paris en 1809, mort à Neuilly-sur-Seine en 1889. D'abord typographe, il collabore à diverses revues typographiques et bibliographiques avant de devenir secrétaire et correcteur du comte de Clarac, conservateur du musée des Antiques du Louvre. Écrivain prolifique sur l'art et l'histoire de l'imprimerie, il publie notamment « Les Graveurs de Portraits en France » (1879) et « Les Livres et Leurs Ennemis » (1883).
