Traducteur judéo-espagnol et auteur de manuels hébraïques, actif en Turquie au XIXe siècle. Avec son père David, il traduit de l'hébreu en judéo-espagnol le « Shevet Yehoudah » de Salomon ibn Verga (Belgrade, 1859) ; il écrit aussi un traité sur les lois des repas (Belgrade, 1859), une grammaire hébraïque (Bucarest, 1860) et un traité d'arithmétique (Belgrade, 1867).
