Auteur et talmudiste arabe qui vécut dans la première moitié du XVIIe siècle à Sanaa et à Aden, en Arabie du Sud, d'où son surnom « Adeni ». Élève du talmudiste Bezalel Ashkenazi et du kabbaliste Ḥayyim Vital, il rédigea en 1624 (ou 1622 selon d'autres sources) un commentaire de la Michna, le « Melekhet Shelomoh », dont les conclusions critiques furent reprises par Menasseh ben Israël dans son édition de la Michna de 1632. Il écrivit aussi les « Divré Emet », notes critiques sur la Massore ; en 1854, le manuscrit du « Melekhet Shelomoh » se trouvait entre les mains de Nathan Coronel de Jérusalem.
