Célèbre hazan (chantre), surnommé Pitzi, né en Autriche vers 1820 et mort à Odessa en 1883, il fut chantre à Tarnopol (1840-42), puis à Lemberg (1842-60), avant de devenir chantre en chef de la grande synagogue d'Odessa de 1860 à 1883. Il composa un recueil d'hymnes et de chants religieux pour les sabbats et fêtes de l'année, publié à Vienne en 1873 ; sa fille, Abrastzova, fut une cantatrice russe populaire.
