rabbin assistant à Tunis ; mort en 1840 à Safed, où il avait entrepris un pèlerinage dans sa vieillesse. Il était le petit-fils de l'un des premiers rabbins de Tunis. Son ouvrage, « Abraham Yagel » (Abraham Se Réjouira), œuvre peu régulièrement disposée tant quant à la forme qu'au contenu, fut publié à Livourne en 1843. Il se compose de commentaires sur divers traités du Talmud, ainsi que de notes sur certaines parties de la Bible, et sur Maïmonide et autres codes juridiques.

Grand rabbin de Djerba, une île près de Tunis ; mort en 1870. Il fut l'auteur d'un poème hébreu, « Shir Ḥadash », publié à Livourne par Israel Costa et traitant des 613 préceptes de la Loi ; et d'un commentaire hébreu sur les Psaumes, « Ḳan Ẓippor », publié à Jérusalem (1870) par Israel Frumkin.
