Érudit espagnol né à Barcelone vers le milieu du quatorzième siècle, auteur d'un commentaire des Psaumes conservé en manuscrit à Oxford. Contraint de quitter sa ville natale par les persécutions qui débutèrent vers la fin de juin 1348, il s'installa à Barbastro, en Aragon, où il demeura plus de trente ans, jusqu'en 1391, année où les persécutions reprirent : sa maison fut pillée, ses biens détruits, et lui-même emprisonné, avant d'être libéré après avoir pris part à une disputation publique entre Juifs et chrétiens à Tortose, en 1413 et 1414.
