Auteur polonais du dix-septième siècle, il se rendit à Vienne puis, lors de l'expulsion des Juifs de cette ville en 1670, s'installa à Brest, en Lituanie, où il épousa une fille d'Elie Lipschütz. Il est l'auteur des « Assara Maamarot » (Dix Paroles), sur les dix paroles divines de la création selon les Pirké Avot ainsi que sur le Décalogue, publié en 1680 à Hambourg ou à Francfort-sur-l'Oder. En 1685, il publia « Zéra Abraham », sur l'ordre des lectures hebdomadaires du Pentateuque, et en 1698 un traité cabalistique sur le Décalogue où il exprime son intention d'émigrer en Palestine.
