Rabbin de Bohême né à la fin du quinzième siècle, mort à Prague en 1542, où il exerça la fonction de rabbin durant les vingt dernières années de sa vie ; parmi ses élèves figurait Abraham Jaffe, père de Mordekhaï Jaffe. Il rédigea des gloses sur le « Ṭour Oraḥ Ḥayyim » de Rabbi Jacob ben Asher, publiées à Augsbourg en 1540, remarquées pour leur clarté et leur sobriété. On lui attribue aussi une seliḥa, encore récitée, composée à l'occasion de la menace d'expulsion des Juifs de Bohême en 1542.
