Talmudiste polonais né vers 1635 à Gombin, en Pologne russe, et mort vers 1683 à Kalisz, où il fut dayyan (juge rabbinique assistant) presque toute sa vie. Fils de Ḥayyim ha-Levi, tué par les Cosaques en 1655, il est l'auteur du « Magen Abraham », commentaire du Choulḥan Aroukh, Oraḥ Ḥayyim, publié en 1692, ainsi que d'autres ouvrages cabalistiques et talmudiques parus jusqu'en 1732.
