Cabaliste du dix-septième siècle, il s'installa à Hébron, l'un des principaux foyers des mystiques juifs de son époque. Son ouvrage cabalistique « Bat Melek » (La Fille du roi) fut édité par Salomon Altaras à Venise en 1712.
