Probablement fils de Daniel Abensur, il fut lui aussi ministre résident de Pologne à Hambourg après 1695. En instituant en 1701 des offices religieux privés dans sa propre maison, il provoqua une division au sein de la congrégation portugaise, dont les anciens demandèrent en vain l'intervention des autorités.
