Prétendu martyr de l'Église catholique romaine à Prague qui, selon le rapport du jésuite John Eder, fut tué par son père Lazarus Abeles le 21 mars 1694 pour avoir persisté à vouloir embrasser le christianisme ; son corps fut inhumé en grande pompe dans l'église de Teyn avec les honneurs dus à un martyr. Le père, emprisonné, s'étrangla avec ses tefillin, et un complice présumé, Söbl ou Levy Kurtzhandl, fut mis à mort ; le récit jésuite est unilatéral et invraisemblable sur bien des points, et une enquête impartiale sur les sources manque encore.
