Talmudiste d'Autriche qui formait, avec Shallum et Jaekel de Vienne, un triumvirat de savants talmudiques à la fin du XIVe et au début du XVe siècle ; oncle et principal maître d'Isserlein, qui cite fréquemment ses décisions. Auteur d'un abrégé intitulé « Hilkot Niddah » et d'un recueil de sermons connu seulement par trois citations, il mourut en martyr à Vienne le 13 mars 1421.
