Poète liturgique établi à Safed à partir de 1545, surnommé Saggi Nehor. Il composa un recueil de poèmes et de prières imprimé à Mantoue en 1561 sous le titre « Sefer ha-Miẓnefet », consacré surtout aux gloires de la Palestine, pour l'amour de laquelle il avait quitté son pays, et comprenant des poèmes sur les treize articles de foi.
