Diplômé de composition du Conservatoire Santa Cecilia, il consacra son œuvre à la transcription et à la sauvegarde des chants liturgiques juifs de tradition orale (rite italien, piémontais, espagnol). Ses manuscrits musicaux (44 dossiers) sont conservés à l'IBIMUS, Bibliothèque nationale centrale Vittorio Emanuele II de Rome.
