Selon le dictionnaire onomastique d'A. I. Laredo (« Les noms des Juifs du Maroc »), Shelomoh ben Alzraq, originaire de la ville d'Alzarcon, copia en 1472 un exemplaire enluminé du Yad ha-Hazaqah (Mishné Torah) de Maïmonide pour Don Joseph ben David Ibn Yahya, conseiller du roi Alphonse V de Portugal ; le manuscrit est conservé au British Museum (British Library), à Londres.
