German Orthodox rabbi and lawyer who challenged Nazi propagandist Julius Streicher in court in Berlin in 1933, emigrated to the United States in 1939, and authored 'Lies in Nazi Antisemitic Literature' (New York, 1940). Died August 21, 1949.
