المنطقة: Grenade puis Constantinople
Natif de Grenade, il s'installe à Istanbul en 1492/93 après l'expulsion d'Espagne et devient médecin de cour des sultans Bayezid II et Selim Iᵉʳ, qu'il accompagne dans sa campagne d'Égypte (1516-1517) ; il meurt de maladie à Damas au retour, en 1518.
