David Gradis (dit David Ier)

Fondateur en 1685/1696 d'une maison de commerce de textiles, vins et eaux-de-vie, il s'établit à la Martinique puis développa dès 1728 l'entreprise d'armement avec son fils Abraham sous le nom « David Gradis & fils ».
