Hlybokaye (in Russian Gloubokoe) is a city in the Vitebsk region (Belarus) whose Jewish community, attested since the eighteenth century, represented a significant share of the population before the Second World War. In August 1942, German forces and their auxiliaries exterminated the entire Jewish community in successive ghetto liquidations.
