Ville princière du Hohenzollern, Haigerloch est célèbre pour sa synagogue rupestre unique (Felsensynagoge), taillée dans la roche et datant du XVIIe siècle, témoin d'une communauté juive bien documentée. Elle fut classée monument historique et est aujourd'hui un musée mémoriel.
