Tashbetz (acronym of Teshuvot Shimon ben Tzemaḥ) — Rashbatz (1361-1444) के responsa का vast collection, post-1391 Alger के great rabbi। Rivash के responsa के साथ, Tashbetz XV century के Maghrebi halakha का cornerstone है और Sephardic Judaism भर में reference बना रहता है। Rashbatz, 1391 के pogroms के बाद Majorca के Palma से Alger को exiled, यहाँ codify करता है post-traumatic halakhic practice : expulsion के marital effects, anusim (forced converts) की status, minhag का reorganization, non-Jewish authority के साथ articulation।
