Pair of ornaments adorning the Torah scroll rollers, called rimonim by allusion to pomegranates. Jewish silversmiths from Yemen, renowned for their mastery of filigree and granulation, made fine open-work structures in the shape of a tower or bulb, sometimes garnished with small bells. The delicate work of silver wire is characteristic of Sanaa.
