Oum el-Qanatir ('Mother of the Arches') is an archaeological site on the Golan plateau housing the remains of a Byzantine synagogue from the 5th–7th centuries, remarkable for its carved elements, Hebrew inscription and well-preserved architecture. Israeli excavations allowed partial reconstruction of the edifice.
