Gandia, coastal city of the eponymous duchy (Valencia), possessed a Jewish aljama attested in the 13th–15th centuries. The community was linked to the commercial activities of the port and the seigneurial administration of the dukes of Gandia; it disappeared at the expulsion of 1492.
