Falticeni

Fălticeni (Suceava county, Moldavian Romania) harbored one of the largest Jewish communities in the region since the 18th century, playing a central role in local commerce and craftsmanship. The community was afflicted by pogroms in the early 20th century then by persecution and deportations under the Shoah during the Antonescu regime.
