Manuscript, Book of Zodiac Signs, Seasonal Periods and Prayers. [Persia, 19th century].
Illustrated manuscript containing several treatises: * "Book of Zodiac Signs of Rabbi Abraham ibn Ezra, which is twelve", an astrological treatise attributed to Rabbi Abraham ibn Ezra, with a title page illustrated in colored ink. In the continuation of the treatise: "Zodiac of Healings transcribed from the Book of Remedies of Hezekiah King of Judah" — healing remedies, text of amulets, tables and names of angels. * "Book of the Servant of Moses the Levite" — signs for the seasons of the year [earthquakes and thunder]. * "Order of Four Seasons for Twenty-nine Years". Introduction by "Moses son of Solomon the Maghrebi, resident of Jerusalem, blessed memory, son of the respected Rabbi David from the inhabitants of Safed". Book of Seasonal Periods for the years 5514–5599 [with handwritten corrections for later years]; formula of the Blessing of the Sun, in Hebrew and Judeo-Persian; "Prayer at the Cave of the Burial of the Righteous" at the tomb of the Prophet Ezekiel and at the tombs of Mordecai and Esther; "Prayer before the Blessing of the Scroll at night and day". In this section, all pages are decorated with frames of verses and titles in multiple ink colors.
On the cover pages, writings in Hebrew and Arabic (in Arabic letters) and colophon: "...the young man, may he rest in peace, Abba Ḥayyim son of Master Gad, slaughterer, may he be preserved, may he rest in peace".
