Manuscript, the book of approbations and subscribers (prenumerantn) for the book *Maaseh Rokeach* by Rabbi Elazar Rokeach [Av Beit Din of Brod and Amsterdam], reprinted by his grandson Rabbi Meir Rokeach of Tchortkov in Lvov, 1892. At the top of the pages are written the names of the cities through which Rabbi Meir Rokeach traveled: Yaburov, Krakovitz, Vilkatsh, Livitshov, Ushpitsin, Tseshinov, Halshits, Yarislav, Pshevorsk, Tarni, Tsanz, Limnov, New Tsanz, Sakhia, Kraka, Padgorza, Brigil, Kamarna, Bardyov, Stropkov, Kleinwardein. In these cities, Rabbi Meir received approbations and handwritten signatures and "advance payments" for the book from local rabbis and notables. The register contains more than 200 signatures, sometimes with an added handwritten line [and several "approbations"], some from prominent Hasidic masters and rebbes of Galicia. Among the identified signatories are Galician Admors from the Tsanz, Belza and other dynasties: Rabbi Shalom Eliezer Halberstam of Ratzfert [son of the Admor Rabbi Chaim of Tsanz]; Rabbi Naftali Halberstam, Av Beit Din of Kashanow [grandson of the Divrei Chaim of Tsanz]; Rabbi Naftali Zvi Halberstam, Av Beit Din of Glussk and Piekla; the Admor Rabbi Yissachar Dov Rokeach of Livitshov [son of Rabbi Moshe of Karov, son of the Sar Shalom of Belza]; Rabbi Elimelech Weisblum of Suka [grandson of the Noam Elimelech]; and others.

* The register of approbations is bound together with: a manuscript of novellae on the Talmud [tractates Berakhot and Shabbat] and on the Mishnah [Berakhot, Peah, Terumot, Maasrot, Maaser Sheni, Challah, Orlah, Bikkurim, Shevi'it, Demai, Shabbat, Eruvin, Pesachim, Sukkah, Moed Katan, Ketubot, Sotah, Avot, Bava Kamma, Sanhedrin, Makkot, Eduyot, Menachot, Keritot, Mikvaot, Niddah, Oktzin], in the handwriting of Rabbi Meir Rokeach of Tchortkov, publisher of the book *Maaseh Rokeach*. It appears that this book was never printed.
* Both parts are bound together with a letter-dispatch journal in the handwriting of Rabbi Meir Rokeach, containing hundreds of entries and letter summaries from the years 1910–1914. Correspondence with the courts of the Admors of Vizhnitz and Belza [with whom he was connected by family ties], matters of matchmaking, kvitlakh, finances and communal affairs, details and descriptions of a journey to the Land of Israel and visits to holy sites, reports on the state of the Hasidim in the Land of Israel, and more.
Register of approbations: approximately 30 pages. Manuscript of novellae on the Talmud and Mishnah: 75 pages. Manuscript letter journal: 55 pages. Dry paper. Good-to-fair condition, stains, tears, mainly at the page margins [some with minor damage to the text]. Some pages restored. Fine new leather binding.
