The Great Book + the family tree
The Great Book is cross-referenced with the names, dates and relationships present in your tree. The questions ask you to connect a figure from the Great Book to a specific branch of your tree, or to place a person within their generation.
Great Book + tree + documents directly from the lineage
The expert level additionally draws on the documents contributed directly by your lineage: records, letters, annotated photographs, testimonies. The questions concern precise details, variant names, secondary places, and correspondences between documents.
For each quiz, you choose the difficulty and the number of questions: 10, 20, or max (the maximum number of relevant questions the database can generate at that level). Each question comes with an explanation and a precise reference to the source.
With each update of the tree, each new version of the Great Book, or each document submitted directly by the lineage, a new quiz is automatically made available — so you can come back regularly to test your living memory and absorb the new information.
