ראש חודש
Intersection register · custodian, not owner
Rosh Chodesh marks the beginning of each month of the Jewish calendar, based on the lunar cycle. Special prayers are added, including the partial Hallel and the Musaf prayer, along with a Torah reading. Once proclaimed by the courts based on sighting the new moon, the day became, in some traditions, a festival especially associated with women.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
