The Three Weeks, known as Bein HaMetzarim, run from the Fast of the Seventeenth of Tammuz to that of the Ninth of Av, a mourning period for the destruction of the two Temples of Jerusalem. Customs of increasing mourning are observed, especially during the Nine Days before Tisha B'Av, with abstention from meat, wine, and celebrations. This period marks the height of remembrance of national catastrophes.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
