Inspired by the quadrivium and Greco-Arabic classifications, medieval Jewish scholars organized secular knowledge into "seven sciences": grammar, logic, arithmetic, geometry, music, astronomy, and physics-metaphysics. Hebrew encyclopedias such as Judah ben Solomon ha-Cohen's Midrash ha-Hokhmah or Shem Tov Falaquera's De'ot ha-Filosofim attest to this ideal.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
