On the island of Djerba survives one of the world's oldest and most traditional communities, centred on the villages of Hara Sghira and Hara Kbira. The El Ghriba synagogue remains a major pilgrimage site on Lag BaOmer. Djerban rabbis sustained a remarkably conservative halakhic and liturgical output.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
