Under Alfonso X of Castile, Jewish scholars such as Isaac ibn Sid (Rabiçag) and Judah ben Moses helped produce the Alfonsine Tables (c. 1252-1270), major astronomical references of medieval Europe. They also translated and improved treatises on the astrolabe and other observational instruments from the Arab world.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
