The Christian printer Daniel Bomberg published in Venice, between 1520 and 1523, the first complete edition of the Babylonian Talmud, fixing the pagination and layout still used today, with Rashi and the Tosafot framing the text. The Vilna edition by the Widow and Brothers Romm (1880–1886) added many commentaries and became the standard reference.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
