The Birkot HaShachar are a series of blessings recited at the start of the day, thanking God for daily gifts: waking, sight, clothing, freedom, and the ability to walk. Drawn from the Talmud, where they originally accompanied the acts of rising, they were gathered into the synagogue liturgy over time and open the morning service.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
