Hermann Cohen (1842-1918), founder of the Marburg Neo-Kantian school, devoted his final work, Religion of Reason out of the Sources of Judaism (posthumous, 1919), to an ethical reading of Jewish monotheism. He developed the idea of God as guarantor of morality and the notion of correlation between God and humanity. His thought left a lasting mark on modern Jewish philosophy.
This Great Book does not yet have published chapters. The chapters — each bearing its register, its epistemic status and its sources — will be added as editorial enrichment and assisted generation progress.
